Loudis Recital Hall
University of Delaware
|The Attic with memory boxes
Directed by Dr. Blake Smith
Conducted by Dr. James Allen Anderson
Sets by Eddy Seger
|Dr. Smith wanted to focus on the importance of memory in the telling of this story. He
asked for a pastiche of photos and postcards for the back wall. Working with the black box
of Loudis, Seger gave him ten over-sized sepia photos from the Civil War era, including
photos of Louisa May Alcott and her home.
