C O M P A N Y
March/April 2015
Clear Space Theatre
Rehoboth Beach, Delaware
Directed by David Button
Sets by Eddy Seger
David Button asked Seger to come up with a chic, clean design that included
couples in the windows of a cityscape and letters representing the word "company"
in the furniture.  Their combined solution was suspended window silhouettes and
raised silver letters on caster boxes.
Seger turned Button's three fixed boxes into lanterns rising from below
making the thrust into a city roof.  Button's request for a graphic path
resulted in a series of window silhouettes.
A freshly-painted back wall facilitates lighting changes to augment the emotions
of the show.
Any resemblance to living persons
(id est, company executive director
Wesley Paulson) is purely
coincidental, of course.
Over the audience on each side of
the thrust, Seger painted more
silhouettes in the window alcoves.
