David Button asked Seger to come up with a chic, clean design that included couples in the windows of a cityscape and letters representing the word "company" in the furniture. Their combined solution was suspended window silhouettes and raised silver letters on caster boxes. |
Seger turned Button's three fixed boxes into lanterns rising from below making the thrust into a city roof. Button's request for a graphic path resulted in a series of window silhouettes. |
A freshly-painted back wall facilitates lighting changes to augment the emotions of the show. |
Any resemblance to living persons (id est, company executive director Wesley Paulson) is purely coincidental, of course. |
Over the audience on each side of the thrust, Seger painted more silhouettes in the window alcoves. |
